This material is packed and available in raffia bags with a net content of 25.0 Kg only. The raffia bags used conforms to the minimum strength requirements of BIS, however, the customer shall take due care while handling the bag. Prolonged exposure of these bags to sunlight may deteriorate the bag’s performance and cause spillage and wastage. IOCL does not warranty the loss of material due to poor material handling practices.

Regulatory Information:

HDPE 012DB54 meets “Specification for Polyethylene for safe use in contact with Foodstuff, Pharmaceutical & Drinking water” as per I5:10146-1982. It also conforms to the positive list of constituents as prescribed in IS:10141-1982. The grade and Additives incorporated meet with FDA:CFR Title21,177.1520, Olefin Polymers.

Storage & Handling:

Prevent HDPE Material from direct exposure to sunlight & heat to avoid quality deterioration. The storage location should be dry, dust-free and the Storage temperature should not exceed 50 °C. Non – compliance with these precautionary measures can lead to degradation of the product causing Color changes, Odor & inadequate product performance. It is advised to process HDPE material within 06months after delivery.

B56003 is a High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) grade suitable for general purpose extrusion blow moulding applications. Articles blew from this grade exhibit good stiffness. The resin offers good melt strength, ESCR, and impact resistance and is typically used for packaging of oil, vanaspati, general-purpose containers, jerry can, etc.

Description

Luban DMDH-6400 high-density polyethylene is a multipurpose homopolymer designed for producing thin-walled blow-molded containers used to package dairy products. In addition, it can be blow-molded into other thin-walled parts and houseware items.

Storage and Handling

Luban DMDH-6400 must be protected from direct sunlight and should be stored in a shaded and completely dry area. During handling and processing, the material should be kept in a well-ventilated area to prevent the accumulation of dust and fumes. Contact with strong oxidizers, excessive heat, sparks or open flame should be avoided as this could initiate the degradation process and consequently impact the quality of the material.

Safety

Luban DMDH-6400 is not classified as dangerous preparation. For further information about safety in handling and processing please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.

Food Contact

Luban DMDH-6400 meets the requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles and components of articles intended for direct food contact. Recycling

The product is suitable for recycling using modern methods of shredding and cleaning. In-house production waste should be kept clean to facilitate direct recycling.

High Density Polyethylene for Blow Moulding

Application: B55HM0003/B55HM0003N is a blow moulding grade of high molecular weight and bi- modal molecular weight distribution for better processability and excellent mechanical properties. It offers an optimum combination of ESCR, stiffness and creep strength. It is widely used for medium to large bulk containers (up to 120 liters) mainly for chemicals and oils (open top and mouth barrels, jerrycans etc.).
